Curiosity killed the what?!

Curiosity is usually thought of as an innate quality. Either someone has it or they don't.

Yet we were all curious as kids- experiencing the world for the first time trying to make sense of this spectacular hallucination.

Some people just lost theirs along the way.

Maybe it wasn't safe to ask questions.

Maybe you got burned stepping outside the bounds of conventional wisdom.

Shamed for "getting it wrong." Ridiculed for saying something dumb or foolish.

Curiosity got set aside in favor of trying to get the "right" answer. Because after all...

Curiosity killed the cat. 🙀

It's a safer path for sure. Without curiosity, there is little risk of being exposed. And when you feel uncertain, all you have to do is hop on the bandwagon because there's safety in numbers right?

When curiosity takes a back seat, anxiety starts to take over. Before you know it, you're trapped in your own mind, very attached to things being a certain way and hellbent on proving your case.

Needing to be right is stressful...and boring!

Curiosity is the antidote; a veritable wellspring of magic and miracles...

...Asking a new question.

...Wondering "what if" and playing it out in your mind. Or better yet, talking it out with someone else.

...Taking a walk in someone else's shoes just for the heck of it.

This is where genius insights come from. It's how unsolvable problems suddenly resolve in ways you never imagined possible.

And maybe most importantly...

It's how we find connection with people who don't appear to have anything in common with us.

Real connection. Human connection.

Anyone can do this. All it takes is a little curiosity.

And if you're worried that you're just not one of those blessed with the gift of curiosity or creative thought, you can rest easy because...

Curiosity is a habit.

It's a muscle you build by asking new questions about the status quo.

Who knows what lies on the other side...

Your next big idea?

Something that will lead you to your big break?

A connection that will change your life for the better?

It's really up to you.

Stay curious. Always!

Love and Light,

The Mystic Next Door

P.S. One of the things I'm particularly curious about is Health...

What if you could heal yourself of the vast majority of ailments?

What if, over time, you became so vibrant and resilient that you never had to see another doctor?

What if you could do that for the people in your life?

I can show you how...

Come take this class with me. It will radically change the way you look at health and well-being.
