Me Time?

It's a popular mantra for people who are stretching themselves too thin..."I need some me time."

And it's a good thought. But not all me time is created equal.

For many, “Me time” is checking out in front of the TV. Not that there’s anything wrong with a good binge. But it’s probably not going to leave you feeling better than when you started.

What I’m trying to say is that you have choices. Every day. Countless choices.

And if this last superbowl taught us one thing it’s that watching people do the smart, practical thing isn’t always that exciting to watch. A little anti-climactic even.

But those practical choices are necessary to gain positive, sustainable momentum in our lives. To get us across the finish line and into the next cycle of growth and joy.

Being intentional with our time.
Caring for ourselves BEFORE we’re totally spent and exhausted.
Spending time going inward even when things are going pretty well.

That last one is critical, .

Because that’s how magic is made.

Magic- or maybe I should say Magick- the real stuff- is made through intentional choices. Choices that you get to make each and every day. The ones you might discount because they seem a little too small- too simple.

That’s why I’m writing to you today. The full moon is coming, and that makes it a perfect time to tap back into your magick.

As the natural flow of energy increases, you have choices about how you're going to use that energy.

Ignore it?
Embrace it.
Resist it?
Harness it.

Do as you please. That's the beauty of being a human being. Just don't forget that every choice, no matter how small, has a consequence.

Ultimately. it's the little choices we make every day that make shape our lives.

They add up fast.
