Today Is No Different

Buddha
There have been a few times in our history where we all seem to take a collective inhale. And hold…

And hold…

And hold…

Waiting until it’s safe to exhale…

Trying to figure out what it all means; For ourselves, for our world.

The quietude in the streets betrays the inner anxiety in our collective. Afraid. Uncertain. Indecision takes hold and we start looking for answers in all the wrong places; Listening to all the wrong voices, inside and out.

I’m not here to tell you that you shouldn’t be afraid. I’m not here to tell you to think happy thoughts and it will all go away.

I’m here to remind you that you get to make a choice.

You get to choose how you treat others. Will you judge and criticize them for what they’re going through? Add more fuel to the fire? Will you shush them like children when you don’t like what they have to say, trying to control so you can feel better?

You get choose the thoughts and emotions you entertain inside yourself. Yes, you can choose your emotions. It’s not always easy. You will have to do some work to solve the ones you don’t want live from, but it is totally possible. And doing this can help you and others around you in ways you can’t imagine.

You get to choose the actions you’ll take. To hide out, or step in. To smile or to scowl. To stay happy and healthy, or to brace yourself for the worst.

It’s totally up to you.

Want to be a leader? Lead with your actions. Want to be a great leader? Let you actions be of care, gentleness and compassion while standing firm for goodness.

This is as important now as it has ever been.

Because when you think about it, nothing is any different today than any other day. We never know when our precious time will come to an end, even though we pretend we’ll last forever. And in truth, part of us will. The part that matters.

But for this human experience, we only have now. But now will echo into the future and make many more nows to come in our lives. So what we choose NOW matters more than you think.

Because sooner or later we’ll be onto the next experience and the only thing you’ll take with you is everything that you refused to release this time around.

Today is a good day to let go.

Of fear. Of misunderstanding. Of judgement. Of criticism. Of resentment. Of Blame. Of worry and anxiety, and everything else that dulls your beautiful shine.

Now is time for healing.

Physical, yes, of course. To stay strong, resilient, and vibrant. But also mental and emotional, that we may continue to be part of the solution, bringing more peace and healing into the world.

And of course, our spiritual healing to realize that no matter what happens, we have work to do to become who we were born to be. That will never change.

Which is exactly why I’ll be right here doing what I do. So, if you need healing, you know exactly where to find me. Please reach out.

Sending Love and Light,

The Mystic Next Door

P.S. Now is more important than ever that we gain the skills to heal ourselves and others. Seriously. Go here to learn how http://smpl.ro/healyourself
