The Mystic's Message
The Lightbulb Moment
It's exciting to think that one lightbulb moment can change everything.
In an instant you see things- maybe even yourself- from a radical new perspective. Clear.
I've had a few of those revelations myself. You probably have too.
They're exciting. Sometimes terrifying. And they often bring with them an incredible sense of freedom. As if you finally set down years and years worth of struggle and baggage. Finally free to move forward in a new way.
It feels so good that you start looking fo…
Where are you running off to?
Running away is often how it starts.
One day you wake up, take a good look around, and decide...
The gears of change start shifting, and it's good. Because different is good. For the moment.
But there is a trap in Different. Because it doesn't necessarily mean better.
We keep changing. Ourselves. Our environment. Our circumstances. Until we decide we want something different again.
And the gears of change shift again. Always running. Never resting. Never contented…
Never Forget This
I probably don't say this often enough.
So I want you to hear it loud and clear...
From me to you.
You're doing great.
I believe in you.
You've come so far, and...
I'm so very grateful for you.
Sending so much love and light,
The Mystic Next Door
P.S. I put a new video up on my YouTube channel for solar plexus healing. Enjoy...
How can you NOT?!
A lot of people spend so much time trying to NOT...
...fall into their vices and self-sabotage
...have the flaws that they have
...be stuck where they are
Changing. Fixing. Fighting.
After all the time and energy they spend trying to NOT, there's not a lot left over for the things they actually want.
The truth is, it's really hard to NOT.
It creates a conundrum in the brain. Because even if you're trying to NOT- do something, be something, have something- your thoughts are still focused …
It goes by different names, but I call it, "If only."
No, it's not a party game like truth or dare.
It's a game people play every day of their lives. It goes something like this...
You are seen.
You are heard.
You are safe.
You are loved.
Just wanted to be sure you knew...
Because it's important.
I mean it.

Curiosity killed the what?!
Curiosity is usually thought of as an innate quality. Either someone has it or they don't.
Yet we were all curious as kids- experiencing the world for the first time trying to make sense of this spectacular hallucination.
Some people just lost theirs along the way.
Maybe it wasn't safe to ask questions.
Maybe you got burned stepping outside the bounds of conventional wisdom.
Shamed for "getting it wrong." Ridiculed for saying something dumb or foolish.
Curiosity got set aside in favo…
The Anger Games, Part 4
Anger generates tremendous energy.
As an agent for change it's powerful.
Anger is also incredibly addictive.
The burst of energy motivates you to initiate change, but what you might not realize is what it took to build that energy up BEFORE the floodgates opened.
There were warning signs that you ignored or discounted, starting with mild irritants working their way toward frustration and eventually sparking into anger.
There were also the lies you told yourself...
You might be right, but...
You might be right...
But if no one can hear you because you're...
- judging and criticizing
- making others wrong or
- making them feel stupid and "less than"
...did you actually accomplish anything?
Or did you just make yourself feel better for a minute because you got the right answer?
So is it more important to be right?
Or would you rather help people find a better truth and help yourself along the way?
How you answer this question changes everything...

Healthy or "Not sick?"
People use this word all time time.
An important word, to be sure...
But when I listen to them talk, this quote keeps running through my head...
“You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
It's weird because if you listen closely, you'll realize that 90% of the conversations are actually about illness.
And I've noticed that there is a huge misunderstanding that just because you're "not sick" somehow it means you must be healthy.
